# How do user roles and permissions work in the UniHop Portal?

The UniHop Portal supports multiple users under one account, each with a role that controls what they can see and do.

### What roles are available?

* Admin — full access to all account settings, billing, locations, users, and orders
* Location Manager — can manage orders and settings for their assigned location(s), but not account-wide billing or users
* Team Member — can place and view orders for their assigned location(s)
* Billing — can view invoices, payment history, and billing settings, but cannot place orders or manage users
* Read Only — can view orders and delivery details, but cannot place orders or change settings

### How do I add a team member?

* Go to the Manage Users main menu
* Click "Invite User"
* Enter their email address and select a role
* Assign them to one or more locations if applicable
* Click "Send Invite." They'll receive an email to activate their account.

### Can a user have different roles at different locations?

Yes! When updating the locations that a user has access to, you can select their permission for each location.
