# How is the distance calculated?

Delivery distance is calculated using Google Maps based on the most efficient route at the time of the request.

### Details

When a delivery is requested, the pickup and drop-off addresses are sent to the Google Maps API. The system then calculates the travel distance based on the optimal route available at that time.

The calculated distance may vary depending on:
* Traffic conditions
* Road closures or restrictions
* Route efficiency

This ensures that the distance used for the delivery is as accurate and realistic as possible.
