Does UniHop work with Shopify?
Yes. UniHop works with Shopify and can help you turn Shopify orders into fast, reliable local delivery—so you can offer same-day or scheduled delivery without having to build (or manage) your own delivery team. Whether you’re a growing DTC brand, a local retailer, or a store expanding delivery zones, we’ll help you choose an approach that fits your order flow and customer experience.
Details
Using UniHop with Shopify can help you:
- Offer same-day or scheduled local delivery as an add-on to your Shopify checkout experience—without hiring drivers, coordinating routes manually, or running your own delivery operation.
- Reduce manual work and operational friction by streamlining how delivery requests get created and dispatched (depending on your setup and delivery volume).
- Maintain a white-label experience so the delivery feels like an extension of your brand—especially helpful for stores and brands that want customers to see delivery as coming from the merchant, not a third-party marketplace.
Your best setup depends on how you handle fulfillment today—especially when an order is considered “ready”, how you manage delivery windows, and whether you want delivery requests triggered manually or automatically.
Common setup options
Option A: Manual requests (quickest to start)
If you’re just getting started with local delivery—or you have lower delivery volume—you can create delivery requests manually through our delivery portal once an order is packed and ready for pickup. This option is simple and flexible, and it’s often a great fit for:
- new delivery programs
- low-to-moderate order volume
- stores that want to test delivery zones and delivery timing before automating
Option B: Custom automated workflow (recommended for scaling)
If you want to scale local delivery with fewer clicks, fewer mistakes, and faster dispatch, UniHop can help you implement a custom automated workflow so eligible Shopify orders can be routed to UniHop for delivery based on your business rules.
You can tailor what qualifies for delivery—such as:
- only orders over a certain value
- specific products or collections (e.g., fragile items, large items, priority products)
- specific ZIP codes, cities, or delivery zones
- specific fulfillment timing (same-day vs. scheduled delivery windows)
This is usually the best fit if your team is doing a lot of copy/paste, managing deliveries across multiple locations, or looking to improve speed, consistency, and accuracy as order volume grows.
Option C: Shopify plugin via Zapiet
If you prefer using a Shopify plugin for delivery scheduling and delivery zone rules, UniHop also integrates with Zapiet. This can be a good option for businesses already using Zapiet for local delivery, store pickup, or delivery date/time selection.

What UniHop is/is not
- UniHop provides delivery fulfillment for your Shopify orders and can support a white-label delivery experience for stores and brands.
- UniHop does not replace Shopify—Shopify still powers your storefront, checkout, payments, and order management, while UniHop supports the last-mile delivery portion once an order is ready to go out.
