Where can I place a store shopping delivery?

You can place a store shopping delivery through UniHop’s Store Shopping page. Whether you’re ordering groceries for your home, stocking an office kitchen, or sending essentials to a friend or family member, UniHop makes it easy to request a delivery when you’re ready.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Place an in-store pickup order (Ex: If you are looking for cookies from John's Cookies, visit their website to place a pickup order)
  2. Once your store order is set, hop back on our site, enter in the pickup order details, choose a delivery time (or schedule it for a specific pickup window if you already know when the order will be available), and pay. Use one of the links below to place your order:
  1. The Hopper will pick up your order & deliver to you!

Important: Store Pickup Policies Vary by Location. Before placing your order, please confirm that your specific store location allows pickup by a third-party courier.

How store shopping deliveries work

A “store shopping delivery” usually means you’ve placed an order with a store (often grocery, convenience, or specialty retail), and you want a driver to pick it up and deliver it to your doorstep (or another address). This is especially helpful for:

  • busy shoppers who can’t step away during work hours
  • families needing same-day essentials
  • businesses restocking supplies
  • anyone arranging delivery for someone else (parents, relatives, clients)
  • people ordering late at night, or for convenience or accessibility

Important Reminders Before You Order

We’re here to help you get your order delivered smoothly — and a couple of quick checks upfront can prevent the most common pickup issues.

Before you request delivery through UniHop, please make sure:

  • The store allows third-party couriers for pickup.

Some stores require the customer to appear in person (or present ID) before they’ll release an order. If a store doesn’t allow third-party pickup, the driver may be unable to collect the items, and the delivery could be canceled, along with a cancellation fee.

  • Your order is confirmed and ready for pickup.

To avoid failed pickup attempts, please wait until the store confirms the order is ready for pickup (not just “confirmed” or “processing”) before requesting a UniHop delivery.

  • Share any special release instructions in your delivery notes.

If the store requires anything to release the order, include it in the notes upfront—examples:

  • pickup code or confirmation number
  • entrance instructions (parking, loading zone, gate code, etc.)
  • any confirmation message the store expects

These details help drivers pick up successfully on the first attempt and reduce unnecessary cancellations and wasted effort once a driver is already assigned.

Note: If the driver arrives and the pickup can’t be completed because the order isn’t ready, additional fees may apply.

What’s next?

If you have extra information that can help the pickup succeed, you can chat with Support and share it there — for example:

  • a screenshot of the “ready for pickup” confirmation
  • the pickup code/order number
  • any message from the store about where to pick up or what’s required for release

This is a great option when the store provides confirmation by text/email, or when you want to make sure important details are clearly visible for pickup.

You can also choose scheduled delivery if your order will be ready at a specific time, so pickup can happen within your preferred window.

What UniHop is/isn’t

UniHop is:

  • A delivery platform that helps coordinate a driver to pick up and deliver your store order to the right place.
  • A helpful option for common needs like grocery deliveries, last-minute essentials, office restocks, and deliveries for friends or family.

UniHop isn’t:

  • The store or merchant (we don’t control store inventory, prep time, or release rules).
  • UniHop can’t guarantee a store will release an order if the store requires the customer to pick up in person or show ID.
